How to reach us, what we can and cannot help with, and the details to include so a sizing question can be answered in one reply.
We read everything that comes in. Corrections to the sizing data are especially welcome — that is the kind of error worth fixing quickly.
How to reach us
Email hello@ring-size-calculator.net. We aim to reply within a few working days.
What we can help with
- Corrections to our data or guidance
- If a figure does not reconcile, or advice on a page looks wrong, please tell us which page and what you think it should say. If you have a source, include it.
- Something broken on the site
- Let us know what you were doing, what happened, and which browser and device you were using. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it.
- A sizing topic we have not covered
- If you came looking for something and did not find it, that is useful to know.
- Questions about privacy
- Anything about what the site records. The privacy policy covers it in detail, but ask if something is unclear.
How to describe a sizing problem so we can help
We can answer most questions in one reply if the message includes a few specifics. Ring sizing is a measurement problem, so the useful details are numbers rather than descriptions. If you tell us only that a ring "feels tight", we have very little to work with.
Where you can, tell us the measurement you took and its unit. Say whether it was an inside diameter from a ring or a finger circumference from a paper strip, and which finger on which hand it was for. Add the time of day and roughly what the temperature was, because both move a reading noticeably. If you are asking about a specific ring, give the band width in millimetres and say whether the profile is standard or comfort fit. Those two details often explain a discrepancy on their own. Our guide to measuring at home sets out how to capture each of those.
If your readings disagree between attempts, send all of them rather than picking one. A spread across three measurements tells us something a single number cannot. It usually points straight at the cause: strip tension, knuckle clearance, or a reading taken first thing in the morning. The list of common measuring errors covers the usual culprits and what each one costs you in millimetres.
Reporting a data correction
Corrections to the size figures themselves are the messages we act on fastest. Every number published here — inside diameter, inside circumference, the UK letter scale, and the EU or ISO equivalent — comes from a single reference table that is checked automatically against its own arithmetic. Circumference is derived from diameter rather than transcribed, so the two columns cannot drift apart, and each letter is matched to its own published circumference.
That system catches internal inconsistency. It cannot catch an error inherited from a source. If you are a jeweller, a goldsmith or a manufacturer, and one of our figures disagrees with your bench standard, we would rather hear about it. Tell us the size, the figure you hold, and the standard or mandrel it comes from. Sizing data gets copied between websites without checking, and an error introduced once spreads quietly. You can read how we source and check the figures on our about page.

What we cannot help with
We are a reference site, not a jeweller. We do not sell rings, we cannot resize one, and we cannot tell you the size of a specific person we have never met.
We also cannot confirm a size for a purchase on your behalf. For anything expensive or hard to resize, a jeweller measuring the actual finger with metal sizing rings is more reliable than any website, including this one. Why this matters most for engagement rings
