Buying Advice

Can My Ring Be Resized?

A standard gold band can easily be resized by a jeweler. But if you are buying tungsten, titanium, or an eternity band, you must get the size perfectly right on day one.

Rings That Cannot Be Resized

  • Tungsten & Titanium: These industrial metals are too hard to cut and weld. If the size is wrong, the ring must be completely replaced.
  • Eternity Bands: Rings with diamonds going all the way around the band cannot be cut without ruining the setting.
  • Tension Settings: Rings that hold a diamond purely by pressure will lose their structural integrity if stretched or shrunk.
  • Rose Gold: While resizable, rose gold is highly prone to cracking during the process due to its copper alloy. It must be done carefully by an expert.

If you are buying any of the rings listed above, verify your size meticulously before ordering.
